EDF Littorio View 1

My Newest LEGO build the Space Battleship EDF Littorio.

It is my design which influenced by the warships from the Anime Space Battleship Yamato, but especially the EDF Hood, EDF Andromeda and her namesake the ww2 Italian Battleship the RM Littorio.
It became quite large or cumbersome and heavy as I used many bricks for it but also slightly less fragile.
I've tried to maintain much less rainbow colour scheme and watch for the details.

Now comes the details:
- She is equipped with a sophisticated Sensor equipment on the Superstructure
- Dual Shield Generator System beneath the ship giving the strongest shield defence there as she don't have weapon arcs to fire below it, except the secondary triple turrets.
- Recreation areas for the crew:
Dome which holds a cafeteria and relaxation time for the crew in front of the ship and observation decks beneath the bridge and both sides of the superstructure. Of course in case of battle protective armour shelter emerges and giving protection to these vulnerable areas.
- Engines:
Wave Motion engine which gives the power to the systems of the ship and the ability to enter hyperspace and to move the ship in normal space
A Pair of secondary Ion Engines for Normal Space travel and added manoeuvrability.
- Weapons:
1. Wave Motion Gun which is the most powerful weapon on board the Human Ships able to destroy a small planet with ease or an entire fleet of ships but it needs power from the engines thus after firing the ship cannot enter hyperspace for minutes!
2. 9 Heavy Shock Cannons in 3 Triple Turrets giving her the ability to fight heavy ships at long range.
3. 12 Light Shock Cannons in 4 Triple Turrets for Medium range fights and against smaller targets.
4. 16 Rapid Fire Anti Strike-craft Laser Cannons in 4 Quad Turrets
5. 6 Torpedo Tubes (3 on each side) with 2 reloads each meaning 18 torpedoes altogether against medium and large ships and stations.

It took me 1 week to build with daily 4-5 hours build-time.
